Jg. Angyan, RAYLEIGH-SCHRODINGER PERTURBATION-THEORY FOR NONLINEAR SCHRODINGER-EQUATIONS WITH LINEAR PERTURBATION, International journal of quantum chemistry, 47(6), 1993, pp. 469-483
Rayleigh-Schrodinger-type perturbation theory is developed for the non
linear Schrodinger equation, which contains a linear perturbation oper
ator. Typical applications involve the self-consistent reaction-field
model of solvent effects. Consideration of external perturbations, lik
e electric fields, allows. calculation of the response properties of s
olvated species. The general formulae allow development of a consisten
t Moller-Plesset perturbation theory of solvated molecules. (C) 1993 J
