We report a 41-year-old woman who underwent ABMT for non-Hodgkin's lym
phoma during her third CR. Her post-transplant course was complicated
by interstitial pneumonitis, hemorrhagic cystitis, cytopenia and episo
des of infection from herpes zoster virus and Staphylococcus aureus. S
he required prolonged blood product support and was tater found to be
seropositive for anti-HIV on day +191 despite HIV-antibody and HIV-ant
igen screening of blood donors.
