Abstract
Nitrogen dioxide and ozone have been monitored by ground-based visible absorption spectrometry at Ahmedabad (23-degrees-N, 72-degrees-E), In dia, during the winter period of 1989-1990. Vertical column density ha s been measured during twilight period. The nighttime decay and the di urnal variation of NO2 have been studied. Observed ozone by spectromet er has been compared with the ozone obtained by Dobson spectrophotomet er at the same location. Correlation between NO2 and O3 has also been studied.
