Da. Degner et al., REVERSE SAPHENOUS CONDUIT FLAP - A CASE-REPORT IN A CAT, Veterinary and comparative orthopaedics and traumatology, 6(3), 1993, pp. 175-177
This report documents the repair and successful healing of a large met
atarsophalangeal skin defect in a cat using a reverse saphenous condui
t flap. Recommendations for the use of this flap in the cat cannot be
made until a complete study has been conducted. Anatomical reports on
the vascular supply to the feline pelvic limb suggest that this type o
f flap should be viable.
