Abstract
The technology for preparing thick films of YBa2Cu3O7-delta, with a th ickness of about 50 mum, by covering cylindrical and plate-like substr ates of Y2BaCuO5 with a mixture of 3BaCuO2 + 2CuO, is presented. The f ilms have orthorhombic phase, T(c) = 92 K, DELTAT = 1 K and they show a good Meissner effect.
