Abstract
A review on the occurrence of salmonella in feed of animal origin is p resented. As a main result, the predominating serovars in recent epide mic situation, S. typhimurium and S. enteritidis, are rarely found in animal feed. Concerning human salmonellosis, this is a fact of particu lar epidemiological importance.
