Abstract
The phase diagram of the binary Cu2Te-Bi2Te3 system was determined by x-ray and DTA measurements. In a first time the successive phase trans itions of the Cu2Te composition have been confirmed as well as its str uctural modifications as a function of the temperature. As the result, it has been shown that the terminal Bi2Te3 based solid solution is no nexistent. The electronic doping character of the copper atoms is emph asised and some electric transport properties have been measured.
