Abstract
In models of DNA nonlinear dynamics, consideration of the so-called '' helicoidal interaction'' modifies the dispersion relations, and can le ad to the appearance of ''crossing points'', i.e. to intersection of d ifferent branches of the dispersion relation. Here we discuss how thes e are related to energy transfer between the different modes of the fi elds.
