Abstract
A plasma-dynamic radiation source is described, in which the contact b etween the plasma and the output quartz window is eliminated by a gas- dynamic method, which improves the ultraviolet radiation output. Addit ional plasma deflectors and a rod, are put in front of the window to c ontrol the plasma flow. The brightness temperature achieved is 4.10(4) -degrees-K.
