Abstract
Computer design was conducted for a series of caged alicyclic structur es without small cycles. With the help of molecular-mechanical calcula tions, the enthalpies of formation and the strain energies were determ ined for the corresponding compounds. The possibility of the existence of highly strained frameworks without small cycles was analyzed.
