Abstract
The synthesis of 24 new 2-alkylthio and 2-(E)-N-thioalkyl-4-azachalkon yl substituted derivatives of uracil and their antimicrobial activity are reported. In particulary compounds 6o and 6p showed a good antibac terial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus faecal is.
