Abstract
The Medium Resolution Proton Spectrometer (MRS) at the Los Alamos Meso n Physics Facility (LAMPF) was used to develop a position-sensitive pr oton telescope with CsI(pure) crystals. Photomultiplier tubes were mou nted at both ends of a 7.5 x 15 x 30 cm long proton telescope and posi tion measurements using the difference of the time signals were perfor med. The position resolution was measured to be 2.5 cm FWHM. An energy resolution DELTAE/E = 3 to 4% was measured.
