The underpotential deposition of a Pb monolayer at -0.525V versus S.C.
E. onto a Ag polycrystalline thin film in an electrolyte solution of 0
.5M sodium acetate, 5 mM lead acetate and 0.01 M Acetic Acid at 20-deg
rees-C has been examined in-situ using reflectivity EXAFS together wit
h a specially designed electrochemical cell. The data reveal the exist
ence of an Ag-Pb bond length of 2.58 angstrom.
