Abstract
The structural characterization of a new family of ionic conductors ob tained by lithium ion insertion into the channels of the NbOPO4 framew ork has been studied by Extended X-Ray Absorption Spectroscopy. The lo cation of the lithium atoms in these systems has been indirectly infer red through the determination of the position occupied by the oxygen o f the lithium hydroxide in these materials.
