K. Sugawaratanabe et K. Tanabe, THE ANGULAR-DISTRIBUTION OF GAMMA-RAYS FROM THERMAL HIGH-SPIN GIANT-DIPOLE-RESONANCES ON SUPERDEFORMED STATES, Nuclear physics. A, 559(1), 1993, pp. 42-60
The microscopic approach with thermal RPA based on thermal CHFB ensemb
le is applied to the analysis of the angular distribution coefficient
of gamma-rays, a2(E(gamma)), in addition to the spectrum shapes of sig
ma(abs)(E(gamma)), both for the ground band with small prolate deforma
tion and for the superdeformed band in Ce-132. The critical gamma-ray
energy where a2(E(gamma)) changes its sign is much lower for the super
deformed band than for the ground band. Thermal energy-weighted sum-ru
le gives an account for the decrease of the peak height of sigma(abs)(
E(gamma)) with increasing temperature.
