Abstract
A new method for performance analysis of surface heat exchange systems is presented. Based on the conservation of energy and mass and the fu ndamental of heat transfer, the mathematical model of on-line performa nce analysis is developed for the heat exchange systems. Such a model is useful to the heat exchange systems in various factories. A simulat ion example utilizing this model for a power station boiler is also de scribed.
