PROCESS ANALYSIS IN THE METALLURGICAL INDUSTRY

The process analysis comprises discontinuous and continuous procedures whereas more and more on-line or even in-line techniques are becoming of increasing technical and economical importance. The role of spectr ometric methods is described, and a short survey is given about the au tomation in central laboratories and at-line operating analytical syst ems. Finally, trends in process analysis are mentioned, e.g. in-line a nalysis by spectrometric and sensor techniques.
