Abstract
A simple technique of charcoal coating of ground around the digester i s shown to improve gas production from the KVIC biogas plant by 7-15%. The increase in temperature over the uncoated biogas plant was 3-degr ees-C during morning and evening hours and 1-2-degrees-C in the aftern oon.
