Abstract
The O-specific polymer from a strain of Xanthomonas maltophilia O19 co ntains D-glucose, L-rhamnose, and D-fucose. By means of chemical degra dations and NMR studies, the repeating unit of the polymer was determi ned to be a branched tetrasaccharide of the structure shown. [
