Abstract
Nonionic surfactants are widely used in commercial formulations as com plex mixtures requiring efficient and selective separation methods. Ca pillary electrophoretic separations were carried out in electrolytes c ontaining high amounts of organic solvents and anionic surfactants bas ed on the formation of association complexes between analytes and anio nic surfactants without micelle formation. Octyl- and nonylphenol poly ethoxylates were separated as their ethoxylate homologues. Influences of the electrophoretic conditions like electrolyte concentration and p H, type and content of anionic surfactant and organic solvents were in vestigated.
