The design, technology, and characteristics of a two-channel receiver
based on thin-film high-temperature superconductor bolometers operatin
g at liquid-nitrogen temperatures are described. A bolometer with a re
ceiving area of 1 x 1 mm in the infrared has a noise equivalent power
(NEP) of 2.5 . 10(-10) W.Hz-1/2 at a modulation frequency of 10 Hz. Th
e NEP of an antenna microbolometer in the far infrared is 6 . 10(-12)
W.Hz-1/2 at a modulation frequency of 10 kHz.
