Abstract
Three new species of Talaromyces C. R. Benjamin, T. convolutus, T. emo densis and T. tardifaciens, are described and illustrated. They were i solated from paddy and roadside soils in Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. All are, as species belonging to the series Lutei typified by T. luteus, c haracterized by restricted growth on common media, bright yellow ascom ata and small subglobose or broadly ellipsoidal spinulose ascospores.
