Abstract
Omphalotus olivascens var. indigo var. nov. is described from Baja Cal ifornia (Mexico). This new taxon differs mainly from the type-varity i n Its blue flesh, very apparent when cut; this colour is kept in exsic cata and is lacking in all the previously taxa described in Omphalotus , e,g. O. olearius, O. illudens and O. subilludens.
