Ct. Field et Fm. Davidson, PHOTOREFRACTIVE 2-WAVE MIXING IN THE PRESENCE OF HIGH-SPEED OPTICAL-PHASE MODULATION, Applied optics, 32(27), 1993, pp. 5285-5298
Equations that describe the steady-state dependence of the coherent-co
upling properties of photorefractively induced refractive-index gratin
gs on high-speed periodic biphase, sinusoidal, and triangular phase mo
dulation impressed on one of the input optical beams are found and sol
ved for both depleted and undepleted pump conditions. The period of th
e phase modulation wave form was kept short compared with the grating-
formation time but did not cause significant spectral broadening. The
results obtained were verified with data obtained from measurements of
two-wave mixing in the photorefractive material, InP:Fe.
