Abstract
The Authors describe a five-year old patient with multiple pyogenic he patic and splenic abscesses, caused by staphylococcus aureus and staph ylococcus epidermidis. The cutaneus focus was responsible for the haem atogenic dissemination. New imaging techniques as ETG, TAC, RMN, play an important role in the diagnosis. This case was treated with teicopl anin satisfactorily.
