A theoretical study has been made of the influence of pulsation parame
ters (length of the period during which the continuous phase is fed, l
ength of the pause period, and feed rate of continuous phase) on the k
inetics of extraction of the desired component from porous particles u
nder conditions such that the rates of the diffusional and kinetic sta
ges of the process are commensurate. Mathematical modeling was used to
perform these studies.
