Abstract
Curling's ulcer bleeding is a well-known life-threatening complication of the severely thermally injured patient. This report describes a su ccessful left gastric artery embolization in a 70 per cent total body area burn patient with severe gastric bleeding. We discuss the various non-surgical invasive modalities for treating such patients, and emph asize the advantages of arterial embolization over surgery.
