Abstract
This paper reports the results of estimating a household production fu nction to test how estimates of biochemical oxygen demand as well as n itrogen and pesticide loadings affect total catch during sport fishing trips. Two separate samples support negative and statistically signif icant impacts from the estimated nitrogen and pesticide loadings on th e total catch, after accounting for effort and other characteristics o f the fishing party and trip.
