Two adolescent girls with acquired vaginal occlusion and resultant hem
atometracolpos are presented. Both are long-term survivors of childhoo
d malignancies, who prior to multiagent chemotherapy and pelvic irradi
ation had normal uteri by imaging. Both were amenorrheic post therapy.
Routine follow-up computed tomography (CT) scans to monitor their mal
ignancies demonstrated unexpected cystic pelvic masses. subsequently d
iagnosed as hematometracolpos.
