Abstract
The problem of connection between the correlation lengths, measured in neutron and X-ray experiments, and the way of preparation of orthorho mbic phases in YBCO is analysed. The estimates obtained in this Commun ication would be convenient for interpretation of the experimental mea surements of the correlation lengths due to a partial oxygen disorder in the basal plane of YBCO.
