Abstract
A family of rigid tetrahedral molecules based on tetraphenylmethane ha s been synthesized. The primary preparative chemistry involved Suzuki coupling. Reactions typically proceeded in good yields providing synth etic entry to tetrahedral building blocks for molecular engineering of architecturally regular macromolecular systems.
