Abstract
Accurate mass determination on the 13+ ion of myoglobin, MW 16 951, ha s been performed with a magnetic sector mass spectrometer equipped wit h a newly designed electrospray ion source. At a mass resolution of 20 000 a mass deviation of 1 ppm from the expected value has been achiev ed.
