SELF-ACTUALIZATION - ALTERNATIVE APPROACHES TO ITS CONCEPTUALIZATION AND OPERATIONALIZATION

Paper represents an attempt to conceptualize and operationalize the co ncept of self-actualization. Three different technics were constructed . The questionnaires were based on the different theoretical presumpti ons. The data were obtained in samples of adults; 85 individuals fille d out all questionnaries. The comparison of the methods representing v arious approaches to self-actualization revealed that there is a conne ction between the contents of preferred general values, the selection of behavioral strategies and formal aspects of self-actualization. At the same time, the comparison enriched each individual approach.
