Abstract
In this study, we attempt to evaluate the calibration of a combined TG /GC system for determining the percentage composition of polymeric com posites. For a poly(styrene-butadiene) latex film, the TG/GC system wa s calibrated using known percentages of poly(styrene):poly(butadiene) mixtures. The standards were evaluated under a nitrogen atmosphere for their usefulness in industrial applications.
