Abstract
We have observed with high resolution the ammonia emission around IRAS 3282, a young star with a highly collimated molecular outflow. Our da ta show the outflow, passing through the core, accelerates the dense g as and produces a shearlike velocity field. The acceleration occurs al ong the walls of a cavity which the outflow seems to have evacuated.
