Abstract
Haemophilus influenzae is an uncommon cause of obstetric and neonatal infections. Three cases of amnionitis caused by H. influenzae are pres ented. These cases occurred in three maternal transports to our tertia ry level hospital within an 11-day period. The organisms were analyzed for biotypes, penicillinase status, and composition of membrane fatty acids.
