Abstract
Cyanoalkynes were synthesized in fair to good yields from terminal ace tylenes and cuprous cyanide in the presence of trimethylsilyl chloride , water, catalytic amount of sodium iodide, and CH3CN in DMSO at 50-de grees-C.
