Abstract
Excitation energies and oscillator strengths from the S-1(0) ground st ate to the first P-3(1)o and P-1(1)o excited states of Cd-like ions ar e calculated by using the multiconfiguration relativistic random-phase approximation including excitation channels from core electrons. The discrepancies among theories and experiments are much reduced but, in general, remain.
