Abstract
The different ways in which non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSA IDs) are handled by the elderly are described. Variations arise throug h changes in pharmacokinetics as well as a result of hepatic and/or re nal disease. Dose adjustment and selection of NSAIDs are suggested.
