A new method is described to analyse the binary mixture of folpet and
fenamiphos, using the first derivative spectrophotometry obtained by m
athematical treatment of the data. Calibration graphs were linear betw
een 1.0 to 15.0 mug.mL-1 of folpet and between 1.2 to 27.9 mug.mL-1 of
fenamiphos. The method has been applied for determining both pesticid
es in commercial formulations and groundwater at ng.mL-1 levels after
a preconcentration step with C18.
