There is hardly a diagram for heat engineering calculations that is mo
re frequently used than that for humid air. Many users who apply this
diagram will hardly be concerned that there could be something not in
proper order. And yet, this is the case, as certain values are conside
red in the present h-x diagrams as constant which, however, are variab
les. This article therefore presents the development and design of h-x
diagrams and tables for humid air, wherein the variability of otherwi
se constant is taken into consideration.
