Abstract
New Monte Carlo methods are presented for efficient simulation of none quilibrium processes in spin systems. The elementary moves are flips o f connected sets of spins (clusters), subject to constraints. Use of a constraint on the cluster size gives rapid short-wavelength equilibra tion and accelerated diffusive long-wavelength kinetics; additional co nstraints can enforce local conservation laws.
