Abstract
Poly(3-aminopyridine) was prepared by electrochemical polymerization o f 3-aminopyridine in acetonitrile. The resulting polymer was character ized by TG-DTA, IR, C-13 NMR, UV-Vis spectroscopy, elemental analyses and cyclic voltammetry. The electrical resistivity of the polymer was in a semiconducting region. A photoresponse was also observed under il lumination of a 400 W tungsten lamp.
