Abstract
A solid-state photovoltaic cell based on a polycrystalline cadmium tel luride/doped poly(N-epoxypropylcarbazole)/gold sandwich structure has been proposed for converting luminous energy to electrical energy with an efficiency of up to 3.2% and a spectral sensitivity range spanning the UV, the visible and the near-infrared.
