Abstract
Acidic doping of the polyaniline (PAn) base leads to formation of cond ucting, soluble PAn.HClO4, and PAn.HBF4. It is found that donor-accept or interaction between cations Na+, Li+ and the free electron pair of the amino group in the polymer chain from the one side, and additional interaction of the crown ether from the other lead to the increase in magnitudes of PAn redox potentials in DMF solution. The preparation o f PAn, the polymeric chains of which contain rings of crown ethers, is described.
