Abstract
A rare case of invasive squamous cell carcinoma of the urinary bladder developing 5 years after cadaveric renal transplant is described. The technical precautions to be taken while performing a radical cystecto my in such a situation is highlighted. This patient required chemother apy in the post-operative period, and the role of chemotherapy in the presence of immunosuppressive therapy is discussed.
