Jr. Sounik et al., ZERO DISPERSION NONLINEAR-OPTICAL POLYMERIC MATERIALS CONTAINING STILBENE AND NAPHTHALOCYANINE DYES, Chemistry of materials, 5(9), 1993, pp. 1253-1256
We report the synthesis of terpolymers containing anomalous and normal
dispersive dyes, silicon naphthalocyanine and oxynitrostilbene, respe
ctively. It is shown by refractive index measurements that the indexes
at the wavelengths 0.63 and 1.3 mum can be made equal by adjusting th
e concentration of the anomalous dispersive dyes. However, the absorpt
ion coefficient at 0.63 mum is too high for these materials to be usef
ul for phase-matched second harmonic generation.
