Abstract
Three new quaternary protoberberine alkaloids, cis-caseamine N-oxide, cis-caseadine N-oxide and caseadinium chloride were isolated from Cera tocapnos heterocarpa. Their structures and stereochemistry were determ ined by spectral methods and chemical correlations.
