Abstract
Reaction of poly(dithienylvinylene) as thin film with bromine occurs i n two subsequent stages, i.e., doping to the conductive state and addi tion to an insulating material. Electrochemistry and spectroelectroche mistry show that both processes may be electrochemically reversed. Pos sible applications to gas sensors are proposed.
