Isolated subclavian artery is extremely rare. The clinical and hemodyn
amic manifestations depend on the state of ductus arteriosus, pulmonar
y vascular resistance, and associated intracardiac and extracardiac ma
lformations. We discuss 2 such cases in association with an interrupte
d aortic arch and ventricular septal defect. (C) 1997 by The Society o
